Description

The position of Project Assistant is available under the CMRG project titled “Epigenetic signatures along the spatio-temporal axis of hippocampus associated with learning and memory in posttraumatic stress disorder animal model.” This research is supervised by Prof. K. Emmanuvel Rajan from the Department of Animal Science at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The project aims to explore the complex interactions within the hippocampus that influence learning and memory, particularly in the context of posttraumatic stress disorder.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.Sc. in Zoology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or a 5.79 CGPA. There is a relaxation for SC/ST candidates, who require 50% marks or a 5.26 CGPA. A strong interest in molecular biology and behavioural analysis is desired. Candidates awaiting their end semester project defense are also eligible to apply. The upper age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated)
