The Department of Mechanical Engineering at NITK Surathkal is seeking a Project Assistant for a DRDO-funded project titled “Assessing suitable additive manufacturing technology for processing Gamma Titanium Aluminide components with desired microstructures and high temperature properties for aeroengine applications.” This project aims to explore advanced manufacturing techniques to enhance the performance of aeroengine components.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a 3-year Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Metallurgy and Materials Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). The age limit is 28 years, with relaxation applicable as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 27,000/month + HRA (as per norms)
