Description

The NIT Kurukshetra is seeking a dedicated Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to contribute to a cutting-edge research project titled “Synthesis of Multi-Material Reinforced Contact-aided Compliant Mechanisms for Medical Applications.” This project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator to achieve the project’s objectives and deliverables.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and a full-time MTech/M.E. in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Machine Design, from a recognized institute or university. A minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5/10 CPI or CGPA is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified for the GATE exam and those with relevant work experience in FEA analysis or topology optimization. Candidates with published journal papers in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals will also be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 37,000 + HRA for the first and second year
  • INR 42,000 + HRA for the third year, upon successful assessment and upgradation to SRF
