The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Engineering and sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is organizing an Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the “Application of Hybrid Machine Learning Techniques in Flood and Sediment Modelling.” This programme, scheduled from 7th to 18th September 2026, aims to equip participants with advanced AI-based approaches for tackling complex challenges in flood and sediment modelling.

Eligibility and Registration

The programme is open to researchers, faculty members, and professionals interested in enhancing their skills in hybrid AI techniques for sustainable river and water resources management. Participants are required to register online, and selection will be based on a first-come-first-serve basis, limited to 50 participants. The program will be conducted by Academicians in the relevant field from IITs/NITs/IIITs and Speakers from industries are also invited to deliver as part of the course.
