The position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is available in a time-bound research project titled “Development of a predictive model for rock fragmentation in ringhole blasting for underground hard rock mines.” This project is sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (PMECRG) Scheme. The research will be conducted at the Department of Mining Engineering, NIT Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in Mining or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA out of 10. Desirable qualifications include GATE/NET including Lectureship, selection through national level examinations by central government departments, and proficiency in software such as COMSOL, MATLAB, ANSYS, SOLIDWORKS, and Origin data analysis. Prior research or industry experience is also preferable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA for the first two years
- Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA for the third year
