Description

The Research Associate position at IIT Ropar involves working on a project aimed at demonstrating hydrogen production from agricultural waste. The project will utilize integrated pyrolysis and catalytic steam reforming processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing raw materials, synthesizing and characterizing heterogeneous catalysts, performing experiments under optimized conditions, and scaling up the overall process. Eligibility

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, allied branches, or Chemistry with a strong publication record in reputed journals. A minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) is required in all qualified degrees, with a relaxation to 55% marks (or 6.0 CGPA) for SC/ST candidates. Experience in material synthesis and project handling is essential. The age limit for applicants is 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • The position offers a salary of Rs 58,000 per month, plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) if applicable.
