The upcoming Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Beyond Teaching Technologies: AI Integration for Educators” is a pivotal initiative aimed at equipping educators with the necessary skills to harness AI’s potential. Organized by the Electronics & ICT Academy at NIT Warangal in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Vijaya Institute of Technology for Women, this programme promises to be a comprehensive exploration of AI’s role in academia.

Programme Overview

The FDP is scheduled from 20th July to 24th July 2026 and is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. This programme is designed to provide educators and researchers with advanced knowledge of AI and its transformative impact on academia and research. Participants will delve into key areas such as machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, computer vision, AI-powered research tools, and more.

Faculty and Speakers

The programme will be conducted by esteemed faculty members from NIT Warangal, with additional lectures from academicians in the field from IITs, NITs, and IIITs. Industry experts will also contribute, providing a well-rounded perspective on AI integration in education.
