Jamia Millia Islamia, an institution originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920 became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. In Urdu language, Jamia means ‘University’, and Millia means ‘National’.

Department Of Biosciences, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi Invites Application For Tthr Post Of Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Application are invited for the position of one JRF under the project entitled “Assessment on the modulation of Anticancer activity of Standard Cancer Drugs by Nutraceuticals and Unani drug in colorectal cancer” from Indian citizens.

Eligibility

M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences/Pharmacy/Pharmacology/Medicine including Unani/Indian system of medicine with not less than 55% marks. The candidate must have qualified UGC-CSIR JRF/NET/GATE/other equivalent national examination. Candidates having experiences in area of animal Cell culture and Molecular techniques shall be preferred.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – initially @31000-/+permissible HRA for first two years and @35000-/+permissible HRA in third year after promotion to SRF
