The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, is inviting applications for the position of Young Professional I under the ICAR AI-Engage Initiative project. Description

The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is seeking to engage Young Professionals to work on a project aimed at enhancing agricultural production through AI. The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project, providing a platform for professionals to apply their skills in a dynamic research environment. The project focuses on integrating global knowledge with local agricultural needs to improve sustainability and resilience.

Eligibility

• Young Professional II:  Master’s Degree in (M. Sc) with Agricultural Entomology OR M.Sc. Zoology or with specialization in Entomology or any relevant discipline of life sciences from a recognized university.
• Young Professional II:  Master’s degree in plant Pathology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ any relevant discipline of life sciences. Experience in basic Plant Pathological techniques, Disease Identification, knowledge of Computer and data handling, scientific writing; as evident from publications.
• Young Professional II:  MTech. /M.E. or M.Sc. (Ag.) in any one of: Agricultural Engineering, Farm Machinery & Power Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Robotics & Automation, from a UGC/ICAR-recognized university.
• Young Professional I:  BSc (Agriculture) or B.Tech (Engineering) or BSc in Life Sciences or BCA. Knowledge and experience in Data management, field collection, in the diagnosis of insect pests and diseases.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Young Professional II: Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated
• Young Professional II: Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated
• Young Professional II: Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated  
• Young Professional I: Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated
