The Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, is seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the role of Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Eligibility
The candidates with M.Sc./MTech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Science/Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgy, Aerospace, Laser Science/Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or any equivalent/relevant allied branches from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale and with a GATE/ NET score are eligible to apply for the JRF positions. For SC/ST/PWD category, a minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on 10-point scale is required with a valid GATE/NET score. Candidates possessing B.Tech./B. E or an equivalent Degree in the relevant branch from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 80%aggregate marks (8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale) in the qualifying degree and a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- p.m. + Rs 11,100/- (30% HRA) = Rs 48,100/- per month
