The Department of Biological Sciences at IISER Bhopal is seeking a qualified Project Associate I to join their research team. The project aims to investigate the role of RNA-binding proteins in the regulation of alternative splicing of autophagy regulators, specifically in breast cancer cells. This research is crucial for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and could potentially lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold an M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related subjects and have research experience in epigenetics, RNA biology, cancer biology, NGS data analysis, or related fields. Desirable qualifications include experience with molecular biology techniques, next-generation sequencing data analysis, R programming for statistical computing, RNA work, and chromatin biology. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in English. The maximum age limit is 35 years, with age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, and physically disabled candidates.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 31,000 per month (with NET, GATE, or other national level examination qualifications). HRA is admissible if residential accommodation is not available.
