The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Project Assistant in the Department of Geology. Eligibility

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology with minimum 55% marks. 

Desirable qualifications: Knowledge of trace element and rare earth element (REE) geochemistry. Experience in interpretation of XRF, ICP-MS and geochemical datasets. Basic understanding of critical mineral exploration (Ni, Co, Sc and REEs).  Basic knowledge of extractive metallurgy. Experience in geological fieldwork, sampling and laboratory analyses.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated)
