Description
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Raipur is undertaking a research project titled “Advanced Carbon Fiber Phenolic Composite Ablatives: A Solution for Prolonged Durability and Efficiency in Rocket Motor Nozzle Applications.” This project is funded by the Aeronautics R&D Board (AR&DB), DRDO Ministry of Defence, and aims to explore innovative solutions in polymer composites for enhanced durability and efficiency in aerospace applications.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science. Alternatively, candidates with three years of research experience post M.E./M.Tech in the relevant fields, along with at least two research papers in SCI or other reputed journals, are eligible. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in polymer composites and thermal protection systems.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated Fellowship: ₹69,600 per month (₹58,000 + 20% HRA)
