Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position at NIT Raipur is a temporary role designed to support a research project sponsored by MOWR, RD&GR. The project aims to explore the complex interactions between land subsidence and various environmental and human factors in Joshimath. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of Dr. Chandan Kumar Singh, the Principal Investigator, along with a team of co-investigators from the departments of Civil Engineering, Geology Engineering, and Information Technology at NIT Raipur.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M. Tech degree in Water Resources Engineering & Management, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Geomatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, or an equivalent field. The age limit and relaxation policies are as per the Government of India norms. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD categories will receive relaxation as per government rules.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 plus 20% HRA per month
