The Senior Research Fellow position at ICAR-IARI involves engaging in research activities under the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Authority (PPVFRA) project. Project Details
Project Title: “Fine mapping and marker-assisted introgression of extended post-harvest shelf-life in cucumber”.
Tenure: The engagement is purely temporary and contractual and will be for one year or till completion/termination.
Funded by: PPV&FRA and ICAR
Eligibility
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s degree in Vegetable Science/ Horticulture/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Plant Biotechnology with 4 years/ 5 years of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree with 3 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET qualifications
- Young Professional-I: Graduate with at least 60% marks in relevant Agriculture Sciences/Engineering/ Technology asper.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): ₹ 37,000 + HRA* (For I and II nd year); ₹ 42,000 + HRA *(For III rd year onwards)
- Young Professional-I: Rs. 30,000/- Per month (Consolidated).
