Filling up of the vacant posts of Deputy Director (Medicinal Plants), Assistant Advisor (Botany), Research Officer (Botany) and Senior Research Assistant on deputation (including short term contract) basis in the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministiy of Ayush
Applications are invited for filling up the following vacant posts on deputation (including short-term contract) basis in the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB), Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi, as per details mentioned below:-

Eligibility
Deputy Director (Medicinal Plants) Master’s degree in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Agriculture or Agronomy or Forestry from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent;
and
ten years post qualification experience of working in the areas of research, development, policy, programmes and implementation relating to medicinal plants in a government department or organisation or institute of repute.
Assistant Advisor (Botany) Master’s degree in Botany/Pharmacognosy from a recognised University or equivalent;
Five years’ experience of working in the field of development of propagation of medicinal plants, particularly used in Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy.
Research Officer (Botany) Master’s degree in Botany/Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject) from a recognised University or equivalent
and Two years’ experience of identification of drugs and medicinal plants used in Indian Systems of Medicine.
Senior Research Assistant Master’s degree of Science in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Forestry or Agriculture or Horticulture or Medicinal Plants or Bio-Technology or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as a main subject) from a recognised University or institute or equivalent.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Deputy Director (Medicinal Plants) Pay Matrix Rs.78,800 – 2,09, 200 in Level-12
- Assistant Advisor (Botany) Pay Matrix Rs. 67,700 -2,08,700 in Level-11
- Research Officer (Botany) Pay Matrix Rs 56,100 -1,77,500 in Level-10
- Senior Research Assistant Pay Matrix Rs. 35,400 -1,12,400 in Level-6

Applications should be sent through proper channel in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-ll) While forwarding the applications, concerned department should send up-to-date APARs of last five years, Vigilance Clearance Certificate & Integrity Certificate etc. of the applicant in the prescribed proforma (Annexure- III).
