Event Introduction
National Institute of Technology Meghalaya is offering Summer Internship Program for the session June – July, 2024.The main objective of this programme is to encourage the bright and well-motivated students of different institutions to pursue an innovative research and development project work under the guidance of faculty members of NIT Meghalaya.

Who can Apply?
Eligibility: B.Tech.: Completed six semesters in the relevant disciplines of engineering. M.Tech.: Completed two semesters in the relevant disciplines of engineering. M.Sc./M.A.: Completed first year in any of the following disciplines: Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Humanities.
Registration Fee
◆ Accommodation and Mess Charges: Shared accommodation will be available in student’s hostel on payment basis. A non-refundable maintenance charge of Rs. 6000/- will be charged for those candidates who shall be opting for hostel accommodation. This amount includes (a) Seat rent of Rs. 1500/- per month, (b) Electricity and Water charges of Rs. 500/- per month and (c) Transportation charges of Rs. 800/- per month, and (d) Internet fees of Rs. 200/- per month. The amount will be deducted from the caution money. Also, the candidates shall have to bear their mess expenses at the rate of Rs. 168 per day during the internship period at NIT Meghalaya. Candidates must pay the mess charges in advance on the day of joining the internship program at NIT Meghalaya. Caution Money: Selected candidates have to deposit Rs. 7500/- as a caution money which is refundable only after the successful completion of the internship. How to Apply
◆ Interested students have to submit the application form for the Summer Internship Program at NIT Meghalaya. The scanned copy of the duly filled application form forwarded by their Head of Department/Institution must be sent through email to summer.internship@nitm.ac.in by 20th April 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered for further processing.Candidate should submit an online application by clicking the Apply Online. Participants need to fill up the online application form by using the link given below with all the required details. The internship is available in the following departments: Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Computer Science & Engineering (CS), Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemistry (CY), and Mathematics (MA).
