The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)”, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.

Online interview will be held for selection of one Liaison Officer to be located at Delhi for an initial period of 01 (One) year; extendable for one more year on mutual consent and performance evaluation of previous year. A postal address in Delhi and essential communication measures and identification viz. email, WhatsApp, mobile phone etc.is compulsory for the applicant.

Eligibility
Liaison Officer Retired employees (Ministerial), preferably as Supdt./PA/PS or equivalent in 7th CPC Pay Level 6-9. Must be a resident of Delhi and able to co-ordinate at DRDO Headquarters and carryout works assigned by Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Pune.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Liaison Officer Rs 20,000/- per month
