The National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa) is a premier technical Institute of the region. No: NITGOA/RECT/RP/2024/OW/02 Dated: 11/03/24 Advertisement for the Position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under DBT, MST, GOI Applications are invited from the interested candidates for the post of JRF/SRF positions to work on the R&D project titled “Biotechnological Interventions for Management of Protected Areas”, sanctioned from Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. Name of Project Investigator : Dr. Lalat Indu Giri Department : Electronics and Communication Engineering, NIT Goa Duration of the project : 3 Years (March 2023 – February 2026).*One JRF/SRF will be appointed initially for one year (contractual) and their services may be extended for subsequent years based on performance review.

  • Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 01 Post

Eligibility

  • Essential Qualifications: B.Tech./B.E in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or any other related areas and M.Tech./M.E/MS(R) in Electronics Engineering/ Data Science or any other related areas.
  • Eligibility for JRF:
  • 1. M.Tech./M.E/MS(R) in Electronics Engineering/ Data Science or any other related areas. Also, NET/GATE/ Any other national exam score and at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate for the qualifying examinations, from a recognized technical institute or university in a full-time program.
  • 2. B.Tech./B.E in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or any other related areas with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or university in a full-time program.
  • Eligibility for SRF: Eligibility prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
  • Desirable skillsets for JRF/SRF: A strong knowledge in the following areas:
  • 1. Strong fundamentals of understanding of Microelectronics & Sensor Technology.
  • 2. Knowledge of relevant tools such as, MATLAB etc.
  • 3. Good mathematical and programming skills.
  • 4. Knowledge about Artificial Intelligence and Deep-learning.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • For JRF Rs. 33,480 /
  • For SRF Rs. 37,800/
