J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology Invites Application for the Post of Producer-Cum-Studio In-charge In Journalism & Mass Communication

J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad (formerly YMCA University of Science and Technology) was established in 2009 by Haryana State Legislative Act No. 21 of 2009 and Haryana Government Gazette Notification No. 29 of 2009, dated 16.9.2009. Before the University came into existence, it had a humble beginning in 1969 as YMCA Institute of Engineering with an intake of 120 students. It was an Indo-German Project – a Joint Venture of the State Government (erstwhile Punjab) and National Council of YMCAs of India with active assistance from overseas Agencies of West Germany. The Institute was started with the aim to impart technical education to a developing India on German pattern and to produce highly practical oriented personnel in specialized fields of engineering to meet specific technical manpower requirements of industries.

Job Description

J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad Invites Application are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Producer-cum Studio In-Charge (on Contract Basis).

Position

• Producer-cum-Studio In-Charge (Journalism & Mass Communication)

Eligibility

• Graduate from recognized University or equivalent.
• Experience in Studio management, reporting/ scripting/ Panel Producer.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in TV Channel/ production house.

Desirable Qualifications:- Degree/ Diploma from a recognized University in Journalism and Mass Communication or Electronic Media.

• The Candidate must be citizen of India. The maximum age limit is 55 years.
• All qualifications must be from recognized Board/ Universities/ Institutes. The Candidates who have obtained qualifications from any Board/ University/ Institution declared fake or not recognized by respective regulatory bodies shall not be eligible. Qualifications obtained through distance mode are not admissible for teaching posts.
• If a class/division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/ division. If a Grade Point System is adopted the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks.
• The candidates of reserved categories of Haryana for which no post is available/reserved, can apply for the posts of General Category, if he/she fulfill all the eligibility conditions i.e. age, qualification etc. as meant for General Category candidates except fees and also attached copy of the caste certificate for claiming fees concession. The relaxation of 5% is admissible for SC category in the eligibility condition of minimum percentage of marks. The reserved category candidates belonging to other states will compete against the posts meant for General Category and will be considered as General Category candidates.
• The prescribed essential qualifications and experience indicated are bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle any candidate to be short-listed for further written Test/Interview.
• The University may conduct any kind of written and/or skill test and only those who qualify the said test (s) will be considered for Interview. The qualifying percentage in such test(s) is fixed at 40% (38% for SC).
• The candidates, who are in employment should send their applications through proper channel, or submit No Objection Certificate from their present employer at the time of interview, otherwise their application will not be entertained.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Producer-cum-Studio In-Charge Rs 40,000 per month(consolidated)
