Eligibility
Position:Project Associate I
Essential Qualification(s): M.Sc. in Chemistry.
Desirable: CSIR-UGC NET (LS)/GATE/experience in organic/inorganic chemistry/ knowledge on catalysis.
Age: Maximum 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.
Duration of the project: This position is purely temporary for the project duration (three years). Therefore, it would not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for any candidate for extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI. Initial appointment is for one year.
Job Description: Selected candidate will work on SERB-funded Core Research Grant (CRG) entitled: Switchable, Reusable, and Cost-effective Heterogeneous Catalysts for Hydrogenation and Dehydrogenation in Tandem. The main objective of this project is to synthesize stimuli responsive catalysts to access two different states for hydrogenation and dehydrogenation in tandem.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Fellowship: i) Rs 31000/- + HRA for the scholars who are selected through (a) national eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lecturership (Assistant professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) Rs. 25000/- +HRA for those who do not fall in (i) above
