Description

The Cluster University of Jammu’s Department of Geology is seeking applications for a Project JRF position under an ANRF-funded Advanced Research Grant (ARG). The project aims to explore regime shifts, trends, and variability during the Holocene in Himalayan freshwater lakes, focusing on both field and laboratory investigations. Eligibility

Candidates must hold an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Earth Sciences or Geology with a minimum of 55% marks, as recognized by the University. Relaxation in marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government rules. Additionally, candidates should have qualified in a national-level competitive examination such as NET, GATE, or DBT-JRF. Experience in data analysis, sedimentology, geochemistry, biological proxies, and lake-system field investigations is desirable.
