Description

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Technical Officer/Senior Project Associate. This position is part of a project funded by an extramural agency, aimed at exploring immune responses in severe dengue infections. The project is led by Principal Investigator Prof. Guruprasad R. Medigeshi and is identified by the project code 30425204. The selected candidate will work on a contract basis, contributing to high-quality research in a dynamic academic environment.

  • Technical Officer/Senior Project Associate

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, a Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, BVSc, or a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering/Biotechnology or Medicine from a recognized university, along with four years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations. Alternatively, a Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (Biological Sciences) with two years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral Degree in Life Science/Bio-Engineering/Biotechnology with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication is required. Experience in infectious disease research, mammalian cell culture, and molecular biology techniques is desirable.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • INR 57,000/- plus 10% HRA
