The Institute of Remote Sensing (IRS) at Anna University is seeking a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project sponsored by the Space Applications Centre (SAC), ISRO. The project aims to evaluate soil moisture dynamics and its effects on crop productivity in Perambalur District, Tamil Nadu, utilizing NISAR data. Eligibility

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Remote Sensing and Geomatics/Geoinformatics/Geomatics with a valid GATE score and a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with experience in Microwave Remote Sensing data products. The age limit is 30 years as of the application closing date, with age relaxation available for SC/ST/PwD/Women (up to 5 years) and OBC-NCL (up to 3 years).

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs.37,000 (Salary) + Rs.11,100 (30% HRA)
