Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University was established under an Act of J&K State Legislature in 1999 as fully residential and technical university, the first of its kind in J&K. Job Description
Applications are invited for highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidates for the junior research fellow (JRF) position to work on a sponsored research project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB).
Project Title: Experimental Investigation of Composite phase Change Materials on Solar Photo Voltaic Thermoelectric generator hybrid system its performance enhancement
Project Investigators: Dr. M. Eswaramoorthy
The minimum essential and desirable qualifications for the project posts are as follows: Initially, for a period of one year and can be extended up to the completion of the project based on the performance.

Essential qualification: M.E./MTech. degree in Thermal Science Engineering /Energy Engineering with 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.5 and above, with a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering. GATE/NET qualification is desirable. Desirable: Candidates with a strong background in programming skills (preferably MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, CFD), A are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidates shall be encouraged to register for PhD at SMVDU in the School of Mechanical Engineering based on the qualification.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
