University invites applications for the following positions at the Center on contract basis:
Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow (RA) in the field- Molecular Systems Immunology and Neuroepigenetics for the project- Center of Excellence in Epigenetics, Shiv Nadar University, Delhi NCR, to work under the supervision of Prof. Sanjeev Galande– Dean, Head, Department of Life Sciences, School of Natural Sciences (SNS).

Minimum qualifications required:
Ph.D. (awarded) in life sciences from a recognized university/institute with a consistent academic record and relevant research experience as evidenced from thesis work carried out in a reputed scientific institution and/or publications. Work experience must be using any of the following model systems is essential: human/mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells; mouse/rat brain; mouse/human T cells and/or thymocytes. Ph.D. Degree should be awarded no earlier than Dec 2018. Under exceptional circumstances, candidates who have submitted thesis or freshly received their PhDs may be considered.
Desirable Qualifications:
– Experience with transgenic and knockout animals would be preferred.
– Hands-on experience with advanced molecular biology techniques including quantitative RT-PCR, ChIP and NGS library preparation.
– Practical experience in confocal microscopy and flow cytometry/or NGS analysis will be a useful qualification.
– Candidates should have published at least one first-author article in a peer-reviewed journal in relevant fields.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 65,000/- to 75,000/- per month depending upon experience and selection committee’s recommendation
