Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MTech in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science and Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, Agricultural Engineering, or Remote Sensing and GIS, or an M.Sc. in Environmental Science or related fields. GATE/NET qualification is mandatory. Candidates awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Desirable qualifications include basic knowledge of MATLAB/Python and exposure to numerical techniques like the Finite Difference Method (FDM). The age limit is 30 years, with relaxations as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Female candidates.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000 per month for the first two years
- Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year
- 20% HRA is admissible subject to non-availability of hostel accommodation
