Description

The research project titled “Prototype Development of a Pre-Wetting Method for Stabilizing Collapsible Soils: A Cost-Effective and Sustainable Intervention for Landslide and Subsidence Control in Northeast India” is a significant initiative aimed at addressing geological challenges in the region. The project is set to run for three years or until its completion, whichever comes first. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a project of national importance, leveraging advanced geotechnical engineering techniques.

  • Project Associate – I

Eligibility

Candidates must possess an M.E., M. Tech, M.S., or M. Sc degree or equivalent in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology with at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA out of 10 in both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Desirable qualifications include experience in geotechnical laboratory testing, field investigations, knowledge of slope stability, landslide engineering, and proficiency in numerical modeling using software like PLAXIS or GeoStudio. The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • ₹37,000 + 10% HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests or GATE.
  • ₹30,000 + 10% HRA for other eligible candidates.
