Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Essential Qualifications :
Post Graduate degree in Chemistry with Specialization in Organic Chemistry (1st class) and selected through National Eligibility Test – CSIRUGC NET (JRF) OR GATE. Preference may be given to students with experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Junior Research Fellow(JRF) – (Pay Recommended (Rs.)31000+HRA (Rs.)4960) Rs.35,960.00. /- per month.
