The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is inviting applications for the role of Research Associates in Transportation and Logistics, with a focus on Civil Aviation. This role involves working on projects related to aviation policy, operations, and management. The selected candidates will engage in various research activities, including data collection, data analysis, literature reviews, and report drafting. The position offers a unique opportunity to work under the guidance of esteemed professors, Prof. Debjit Roy and Prof. Sandip Chakrabarti, and contribute to significant research in the field.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Applicants must have a master’s degree in business administration (MBA or similar) or economics (MSc/MA or similar) or an equivalent program with significant coursework/concentration in data analytics.
• Prospective candidates must have taken and achieved good grades in undergraduate as well as postgraduate level courses in statistics, econometrics, data analytics, and/or similar courses.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) are essential. A writing sample must be submitted.
• Prior research assistantship experience in an academic institution will be a plus.
Candidates not meeting the required qualifications mentioned above should not apply. Promising candidates with no prior research assistantship experience may initially be appointed as Research Assistant.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
