The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in the year 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed as Ministry of Education in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.
Job Description
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER)invites applications from Indian nationals for the following post Senior Project Associate purely on temporary and contractual basis under funded project:Project Title “Valorization of mangrove species for the livelihood improvement of the mangrove-associated local communities via sustainable utilization”.
Tenure of the appointment : Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
Funding Agency : Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. degree in Natural / Agricultural Sciences OR Pharma from a recognized university. Please note that candidates who have defended their thesis and have a provisional Ph.D. degree certificate may also apply.
Preference : 1. At least one peer reviewed international publication and research experience. 2.HPLC, LC-MSMS and GC-MS based analyses. 3.Statistical analyses like ANOVA, correlation, etc..
Job requirements: The successful candidate will have to conduct the HPLC, LC-MS and GC-MS based analyses.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 42,000/- + 24% (House Rent Allowance)
