The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position purely on a contract basis: Project title – Biodiversity Assessment in the Seshachalam Hills funding by APMDC.

Eligibility
Minimum qualifications for Project Assistant
Essential: B.Sc. in any Biological Sciences (minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade), B. Tech in Biotechnology (minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade) or equivalent degree. Desirable: • M.Sc. in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology with a minimum of 60% marks. • Candidates having basic knowledge of and experience with Molecular lab techniques like DNA extraction, PCR, and Gel electrophoresis are preferred.
Minimum qualifications for Project Associate Essential: • M.Sc. in any Biological Sciences (minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade), B. Tech in Biotechnology (minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade) or equivalent degree. • Two years of experience in research and development in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
Project Assistant Rs. 20,000/- + 8% HRA Project Associate -II (i) Rs. 35,000/- + 8% HRA to Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests -CSIR[1]UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) Rs. 28,000/- + 8% HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above.
