Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam at Valavoor, Pala, Kerala is one among the IIITs that have been established as “Institutions of National Importance” by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India under the ambit of IIIT (PPP) Act 2017. IIIT Kottayam campus is situated at Valavoor, Pala, Kottayam – a picturous location, spread over in 53 acres of land – allotted by Govt. of Kerala in the southern part of the state commonly referred to as God’s Own Country.
Description
IIIT Kottayam, offers an online internship programme for students with an objective to encourage aspiring bright students of different Institutes in India. The program is designed in such a way that the student will get a deep knowledge in the chosen area within the stipulated time. Duration of the programme is 4 to 8 weeks. During the internship period, interns are to pursue an innovative research and development project under the guidance of IIIT Kottayam faculties.

The programme mainly focuses on undergraduate (B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc, BCA, etc.) and postgraduate (M.Tech, M.E., M.Sc, MCA, etc.) students in the fields of Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Mathematics.
Internship Fee
- Programme Fee of Rs. 5000/- should be deposited online while applying
Award Certificate
- Only those who satisfactorily complete the programme will be given the internship certificate.
- Provision available for outstanding interns to continue research activities with institute faculties.

- After getting consent from the internship guide from IIIT Kottayam in required format, students can register online
- Go to https://internship.iiitkottayam.ac.in
- Click on the “New User” link and enter the user details. The system will send a verification e-mail to your registered e-mail. Click on the link. It will automatically redirect to login page. Login with your registered credentials.
- Students must upload a Bona-fide Certificate from their parent institute during filling-up of application. Format is available in the application portal.
