The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as “Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)”, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune. From the relatively narrow scope of Armament Studies alone in the Fifties, the role of the Institute was considerably enlarged by the Defence R&D Council in 1964 and further in 1981.
Description
A ‘Walk-in-Interview’ will be held at this Institute 26th November, 2021 at 1000 Hrs for for the position of Chief Scientist to work on the Institute level research project under DIAT Innovation and Incubation Centre entitled “Development of biodegradable diclofenac-microneedle-patch for painless transdermal drug delivery for analgesic application” in the Dept of Applied Physics. Essential: Ph D in Chemistry / Physics/ Nanotechnology / Electronics OR M. Tech in Sensor Technology / Chemistry Preferred Experience: Chemical Synthesis, Knowledge about regulatory procedures for product development, characterization expertise and document/ accounts book-keeping.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Consolidated fellowship @ Rs 30,000/- per month
