The Central University of Rajasthan is seeking a dedicated researcher for a temporary position in a project aimed at understanding the role of endoplasmic reticulum membrane proteins in drought-induced unfolded protein response. This research is crucial for developing stress-resilient chickpea varieties, which can significantly impact agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Eligibility

Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Botany, or Life Science a related field with a good academic record from a recognized university. For the SRF position, two years of research experience is mandatory. Candidates for the JRF position should have cleared national-level exams like UGC/CSIR-GATE. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in biochemistry, plant molecular biology, and plant tissue culture.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• SRF: Rs. 42,000 + 10% HRA
• JRF: Rs. 37,000 + 10% HRA (if a suitable SRF candidate is not available)
