Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments and five inter-disciplinary academic centres covering all the major engineering, science and humanities disciplines, offering BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and PhD programmes. Applications are invited for an Online interview for the following post(s) in the project entitled “Affordable portable multi Diagnostic device for detection of 5 Biomarkers Albumin, Cholesterol, Uric Acid, Triglyceride & Glucose” at the Centre for Nanotechnology, IIT Guwahati.

Position

• Assistant Project Engineer – 1 Post
• Laboratory Attendant – I – 1 Post
• Laboratory Attendant – II – 1 Post

Eligibility

• Assistant Project Engineer – Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology. 3 years of work experience, with at least one-year experience in product engineering, design and development of portable medical devices.
• Laboratory Attendant – I – Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication. At least one year of experience in PCB Assembling, Testing and Debugging of medical diagnostic device. Experience of using and handling electronics instruments such as microscopes, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, voltage calibrators, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, source meter and other similar instruments.
• Laboratory Attendant – II – Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. At least one year of experience in working in a dynamic MedTech start up. Experience in component assembling, testing and debugging of PCBs.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Assistant Project Engineer Pay Scale – Rs 28500-1350-42000
• Laboratory Attendant – I Pay Scale- Rs 7450-750-14950
• Laboratory Attendant – II Pay Scale- Rs 7450-750-14950
