Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is part of a project titled “Digital Twin Enabled Heat Sink Thermal Clustering for Estimating Remaining Useful Life of Electric Rail Traction Drive System.” This project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under the Advanced Research Grant (ARG). The research aims to innovate in the field of electric rail traction systems by leveraging digital twin technology to enhance thermal management and predict system longevity.

Project Details

Project Title: “Digital Twin Enabled Heat Sink Thermal Clustering for Estimating Remaining Useful Life of Electric Rail Traction Drive System”.

Duration: 36 months (3 years).

Principal Investigator:  Dr. R. Raja Singh, Professor 

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech., M.E./MTech., Integrated MTech., or MS Research degree with a background in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science. Essential skills include knowledge and hands-on experience in Power Electronics, Thermal Analysis, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, AI/ML, Digital Twin, and Experimental Testing.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Rs. 37,000 per month for Year 1 and Year 2
• Rs. 42,000 per month for Year 3
