Project entitled: “Establishment Of BIRAC Empowering Youth for Undertaking Value Added Innovative Translational Research Centre (E-YUVA)”
Eligibility
Essential: Ph.D. in Horticulture/Agriculture/Post-Harvest Technology/Food Science & Technology/Food Technology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biochemistry or allied disciplines with at least three years of post-Ph.D. experience in Teaching/Research/industry.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience: Preference shall be given to candidates having:
Strong interest and experience in technology innovation, entrepreneurship, incubation and start-up development.
Experience in mentoring students, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs and/or start-ups.
Experience/knowledge of project management, intellectual property (IP) management, technology transfer/commercialization, incubation and business management.
Experience in scientific writing, preparation of pitches/business plans and fund-raising.
Research and innovation credentials as evidenced by publications, patents, technologies/products developed and/or start-ups created/mentored.
Excellent communication, organizational, networking and interpersonal Skills.
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary activities and deliver project targets within stipulated timelines.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.75,000 per month (fixed) with scope of 5% annual increase as per the approved BIRAC project provisions.
