The project aims to explore the thermogradient behaviour in high-entropy solder alloy systems through computational thermodynamics, diffusion modelling, and experimental characterization. Project Details
Project Title: “Unravelling Thermogradient Effects in High-Entropy Solder Alloys”.
Duration: Initially for one year; extendable based on performance and project tenure

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MTech. /M.E./M.S. or equivalent degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering. Those with a B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields must have a valid GATE score. Alternatively, candidates with an M.Sc. in Materials Science, Physics, Nanoscience and Technology, with a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR-JRF qualification, are also eligible. A strong foundation in physical metallurgy, thermodynamics, and mechanical behaviour is desirable, along with proficiency in scientific computing tools like Thermo-Calc and DICTRA.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- ₹37,000 per month + HRA
