Project Details
Project Title: ” Bioacoustics Workshop Description This project uses bioacoustics and LiDAR technologies to monitor biodiversity, assess habitats, support ecological research and conservation, and develop datasets and training materials for workshops”.
Duration: The initial offer will be for six months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Principle Investigator: Dr. Robin V. Vijayan.
Eligibility
Candidates must possess a graduate degree or B.Sc. with at least 50% or equivalent grade. Additional qualifications include a valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving license, at least one year of fieldwork experience in ecological or wildlife research, and experience in recording bird songs and analysis. Familiarity with Raven Pro and LiDAR data analysis is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- INR 20,000 + 9% HRA
