Eligibility

 Candidates who wish to be considered for such an appointment having at least five years of significant research and professional experience after their Ph. D.  Academic units will evaluate these applications. Mere fulfillment of eligibility criteria does not promise appointment to a Research Scientist position. Please write to the respective Heads of Academic Units for specific information. There is no last date for the applications. I1T Bombay’s own Ph.D. students are not eligible for this position.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Consolidated Salary + Contingency Grant: Consolidated base salary of Rs. 1,00,000/- per month on a pro-rata basis.   HRA as per the Government of India norms (currently 30% of the consolidated salary) will be paid.
• Non-lapsable contingency grant of Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum.
