The National Institute of Technology Silchar is seeking a qualified candidate for a temporary role as Project Associate-I. This position is part of a government-sponsored project in the Department of Chemistry, focusing on innovative research in Metallo-supramolecular polymers. The project aims to explore photo-induced pathways for controlling these polymers, which have potential applications in switchable (semi)conductors.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an MSc. in Chemistry or a BS-MS in Chemistry. A basic understanding of Organic Chemistry and prior experience in organic synthesis and characterization are desirable. The age limit for applicants is 30 years as of the last date of the advertisement, with relaxations applicable as per Government of India rules.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs.37,000/- + HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests or equivalent examinations.
- Rs.30,000/- + HRA for other candidates.
