Description
The project titled “Machine learning based design of low-cost Knee-Ankle-Foot-Orthosis for Divyans and development through additive-manufacturing of recycled plastic” aims to leverage machine learning techniques to create customized orthotic devices. These devices will be prototyped using additive manufacturing processes, utilizing recycled plastics to ensure cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M.E/MTech in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Machine Design, Materials and Manufacturing), Biomedical Engineering, or related fields from a recognized university. A minimum of 60% marks in the master’s degree is required, along with GATE/NET qualification. Experience in simulations using COMSOL, additive manufacturing, and material characterization is desirable.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month, with eligibility for H.R.A as per project/institute norms.
