Description

The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will engage in the design and development of an intelligent UAV navigation and adaptive task offloading framework. This involves implementing navigation and edge computing algorithms in simulation environments, conducting performance evaluations, and analyzing latency, energy consumption, and mission efficiency. The JRF will also be expected to publish research findings and register for a Ph.D. in January 2027 with fellowship support from the project.

Eligibility

Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT/ECE with a valid GATE score or an M.E./MTech. in CSE/IT/ECE or relevant streams. Desirable qualifications include strong programming skills in Python and experience with C/C++, knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Reinforcement Learning, experience with UAV simulation platforms, and familiarity with edge computing, task offloading, wireless communication, and computer networks. The age limit is 35 years as of the last date of application, with age relaxation applicable as per GoI norms.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Stipend: ₹37,000 + 30% HRA (if no accommodation is provided by the Institute)
