Description
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will engage in the analysis, design, and development of secure processor architectures and AI acceleration units. The role includes demonstrating micro architectural attacks and countermeasures on open-source processors, conducting performance evaluations, and publishing research findings. This position is part of a sponsored project titled “Redesigning Branch Prediction Units in High-Performance Processors for Enhanced Security,” funded by ANRF – PMECRG.

Eligibility
Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT/ECE or relevant streams with a valid GATE score, or a B.E./B.Tech. in CSE/IT/ECE with at least two years of industry experience in VLSI design, or an M.E./MTech. in CSE/IT/ECE or relevant streams. Desirable qualifications include strong programming skills in Python and C/C++, interest in computer architecture and VLSI design, experience with hardware description languages, and knowledge of AI, machine learning, and deep learning algorithms. The age limit is 35 years as of the last date of application, with age relaxation applicable as per GoI norms.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Stipend: ₹37,000 + 30% HRA (if no accommodation is provided by the Institute)
