Description

The Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, is conducting a walk-in interview for one post of Project Associate I / Project Associate II. This position is part of a DST-funded research project titled “Millet Biorefinery for Food, Feed, Fodder, Fertilizer, and Fuel: Design to Demonstration.” The project aims to develop value-added products from millets, conduct analysis, and perform in-vitro trials. The selected candidate will work on this project for a duration of six months.

Eligibility

The candidate must possess an M. Tech/ M.E in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Food Technology Engineering, with at least one degree in Food Technology. Desired qualifications include basic knowledge in food processing, fermentation, enzymes, and millet processing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in national-level institutes and those who have worked on millet-related topics.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

• Project Associate I: Rs 31,000 per month (fixed consolidated) + HRA as per institute norms
• Project Associate II: Rs 35,000 per month (fixed consolidated) + HRA as per institute norms
