The National Institute of Technology Raipur is conducting a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a sponsored R&D project. This project is a collaborative effort involving the Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Information Technology at NIT Raipur, and GEC Jagdalpur. The research focuses on creating an AI-driven framework to ensure groundwater iron safety for tribal mining communities in Chhattisgarh, addressing a critical environmental and public health issue.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./MTech. in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, AI, Data Science, Applied Geology, Civil, Mining, or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (out of 10) in M.E./MTech/MCA. Alternatively, candidates with a B.E./B.Tech. from an Institute of National Importance with a minimum of 80% marks or 8.5 CGPA (out of 10) are eligible. Desirable qualifications include selection through national level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies such as ICMR, IIT, IISc, DST, and DBT, along with sound knowledge in AI, Deep Learning, and programming languages like Python or R.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Rs. 37,000/- per month + 20% HRA
