The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Research Assistant and Field Investigators. These positions are part of a project focused on archaeological investigations in the Upper Son Valley. The roles are temporary and will be based in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology.

Eligibility
For the Research Assistant position, candidates must have a Ph.D./M.Phil. or a Postgraduate degree in Social Science, Humanities, Ancient Indian History Culture and Archaeology, or related disciplines with a minimum of 55% marks. A 5% relaxation is provided for SC/ST candidates. Preferred qualifications include experience in prehistoric archaeology, knowledge of SPSS, computer skills, and proficiency in English writing.
Field Investigator candidates should have a graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks, with a similar relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Preference is given to candidates with a four-year graduation program, computer skills, and English writing proficiency.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000 per month (all inclusive)
- Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000 per month (all inclusive)
