Description

The project titled “Quantum-Enhanced Bio-Imaging: Squeezed-Light Super-Resolution Microscopy for Live Deep Tissue Analysis” is a pioneering initiative at IIT Mandi’s Centre for Quantum Science and Technologies (CQST). It involves the development of a bio-imaging platform using advanced techniques in quantum optics, photonics, and computational imaging. The project is set to last for 36 months, with the initial appointment for the JRF position being 12 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a B. Tech., B.E., or M.Sc. (or equivalent) in Physics, Engineering Physics, Applied Physics, Photonics, Optics, Quantum Technology, or Biomedical Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a 6.0 CGPA. Additionally, candidates should have qualified in at least one national-level fellowship such as CSIR, DBT, INSPIRE, or any other recognized by DST/DBT/UGC/CSIR. Desirable qualifications include experience in quantum optics, photonics, lasers, optical instrumentation, and scientific programming.

Minimum Monthly Remuneration

  • Rs. 37,000 per month
