Description
The VNIT Nagpur is conducting a walk-in interview for one post of Project Associate I / Project Associate II. The selected candidate will work on a DST-funded project aimed at developing a millet biorefinery. The project involves creating value-added products from millets, conducting analysis, and performing in-vitro trials. This is a temporary position, co-terminus with the project, and does not confer any right to claim a regular appointment at VNIT Nagpur or the funding agency.

Eligibility
Candidates must possess an M. Tech/M. E in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Food Technology Engineering, with at least one degree in Food Technology. Desired qualifications include basic knowledge in food processing, fermentation, enzymes, and millet processing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in national-level institutes and those who have worked on millet-related topics.
Minimum Monthly Remuneration
- Project Associate I: Rs 31,000 per month (fixed consolidated) + HRA as per institute norms
- Project Associate II: Rs 35,000 per month (fixed consolidated) + HRA as per institute norms
